The human body has 11 different organ systems. Each group of organs has a different complex function, such as movement, breathing, or digestion. Making up our organs are a staggering 36 trillion cells. The complexity of the human body is beyond description.

Our bodies are designed to thrive, but they need our active participation. The Five Fundamentals of excellent health really must be actively engaged:

  • Exercise; we must move, stretch, and push our bodies to build resilience and vitality.
  • Sleep: this is when our bodies rebuild. No sleep, no resilience and no rejuvenation.
  • Diet: healthy eating means more than providing fuel and building blocks, we must also focus on dietary factors that heal, protect, and promote vitality.
  • Relationships: human beings need other human beings almost as much as we require oxygen and water. Recent studies show that loneliness is worse for us than smoking a pack of cigarettes per day.
  • Targeted Supplementation: the science is in, there is much we can supplement our diets with factors that will have very positive impacts on our health and human potential.

To enhance and promote vitality the science backs the value of a plant rich diet and disciplined avoidance of sugary and refined foods.
